I guess since today seems to be the day to announce running mates...although it ws not my car, I do remember driving it a lot, and it is also in the previous post. You might say it was my cars running mate. ( If the one was unable to fulfil its obligations then well...you know) I really liked the little Pinto. Lots of good time there...the back seat folded down too... the little 1600cc four with four speed was not as peppy as say a Vega but I bet we got better mpg. 30's on the road were not uncommon. Pretty good for a 1971 car when miles per gallon wasn't really a thought. Also note the "Graduate"...that's me, and now 31 years later I am graduating again. Here's to Pinto's, old Chevy's, and Graduating.
