TwentyTwo was the first caliber of firearms I have fired outside of .177 caliber BB's. It was at Boy Scout Camp back in the day...Now you have a hard time trying to be able to teach responsible marksmanship even to a ROTC class in a high school. My daughter had to learn marksmanship with her military class using BB's and Pellets. I know you can teach basics and there is even Air Rifle still in the Olympics.
